He is the best dentist I have ever been to. My husband and I have been going to him for quite some time now. Dr.Dao is thorough and consistent with his work and like others mentioned, he is always on time.
His staff are awesome as well. They are super friendly and funny at times.
I highly recommend Dr.Dao and his team.

Best Dentist in Oakland. Seriously.

I live in the condo building that Dr. Dao's offices are in, and I stopped in out of convenience. His staff was super friendly, fast, and efficient. I decided to schedule a follow up appointment for a cleaning and some fillings. But about 2 weeks later I totally cracked my molar in half eating ice (smart move guy) on a Sunday. I called Dr. Dao's office that day, and he called back first thing Monday morning and saw me Monday afternoon. Amazing.

The next time I came in, he said he wanted to do a "project" -- fix my badly decalcified front teeth (braces fail from middle school). About 30 minutes later my entire front grill looked like a million bucks. I was told by other dentists that they couldn't do anything about it. Not Dr. Dao, he took it as a personal challenge, and was able to reverse years of self-conscience issues I had with my teeth.

I'll continue to go to Dr Dao as long as I have the means to get to his office. Even if that means I have to fly in. Seriously.

I was let go from my employer at the beginning of last month and my health insurance would expire at the end of last month. So I was rushing to get my teeth checked, cleaned, and to *hopefully* get my amalgam filling replaced with a more body-friendly material. I found Dr. Dao (iSmile Dental) on my insurance website and called to make an appointment.

I arrived and had a great impression of the office. Very clean, organized, and open. The staff were friendly and comforting. When Dr. Dao looked into my teeth, he was very gentle and made every effort to communicate with me even though I am deaf. (Many doctors freak out when communicating with a deaf person, it's weird) He told me that I had three more cavities and would have to get them filled.

I was a little nervous because my health insurance would expire soon and I wouldn't be able to afford that afterwards. The receptionist, Linda, was very understanding and booked me in every available appointment up until the last day of my policy coverage. They took care of me and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. When I winched at a slight pain from the drilling (for filling), Dr. Dao stopped and gave me more numbing medication. I didn't have any problems from there on!

I got everything taken cared of they did an amazing job! Dr. Dao is awesome in my book!

I highly recommend him. You won't be disappointed.

Oh, and you will be amazed at technology today! It's fascinating to see how (and how fast) they examine you with all these cool gadgets!

Dr. Dao was great! I hadn't been to a dentist in over 4 years (I was a student without insurance) but he was great and didn't judge me! I called and that same week I was able to go in and take care of some cavities. I have had some pretty bad experiences with dental procedures, so I was really nervous. But all the high-tech equipment, cleanliness, and kind assistants made it really easy to relax. I like that they are open Saturdays and love that they are in the Sierra building! I live in the building, so if I'm numbed up, I just hop on the elevator and I'm home.

Also, He referred me to a great Oral surgeon for my wisdom teeth extractions.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Dao. Unlike many other dentists, he does all of the work himself, even cleanings, and the quality of his work is excellent. In addition, he's always on time and ready to go at the scheduled time. I've never had to wait, again, unlike many other dentists I've been to. He works fast and is a really nice guy too. What else can you ask for in a dentist?

I was very happy with Dr Dao and his practice. No longer having dental insurance I called my old dentist and asked what certain procedures would cost if I paid cash- they were well out of reach. Dr Dao did a great job, but cost a fraction of my Alameda dentist.

I was way way way over due for a check up and a cleaning and i went to I smile because it was 2 blocks from my apt. and I was able to make an appt. that same week. The office was very clean and the equipment new and up to date. The staff are friendly and I found Dr Chuong to be patient, kind and gentle. He explained everything as he went along and answered all my questions. I would definitely say it was a good experience and how often can you say good experience and dentist in the same sentence?

Dentist Dao is great. Wonderful office environment and great customer service. I had uneven teeth, baby tooth, and gaps. He helped reshaped and fill in the gaps of my teeth and till today, I have a confident and bright smile. Three months later, I am coming back to him to get my teeth whitening. Albert is the best dentist I've ever had. He is thorough and clean and meticulous. He is also very genuine and patient. I highly recommend him.
I had several problems, he was able to solve them without making me feel bad. I highly recommend.

This place is clean and modern. It is located on Madison between 3rd & 4th. All equipments are new. Scheduling is flexible. Dr. Albert Dao always take his time to make sure everything is done right. He makes going to the dentist a not-so-bad experience. I highly recommend him.
